Bat Island

Cabo de Rama Fort

This famous fort is in Canacona, formed before the arrival of British. It is believed that it is the same fort where Lord Rama with his consort Goddess Sita and brother Lord Laxman soughtrefuge when they were exiled from Ayodhya. As you reach the top you will be welcomed with breath-taking view of crystal water fringed by sandy charms and arching palm grooves. There is a church of Santo Antonio, inside the fort, where devotes still come to pay their obeisance.

Lamgau Caves

These fascinating caves are tucked away in Bicholim and are around 35 kms away from north-east Panaji. The caverns are etched out of decomposed laterite and are hence delicate. This place is an important place for educational and cultural purposes.

Mollem National Park

It is also called BhagwanMahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and is spread across 240 sq. km. Bio-diversity, ancient temples, rare species of bird and reptiles are the attractions of this national park. It is situated about 60 kms from Panaji.

Curlies

The famous beach shack on Anjuna Beach, it is also a landmark, a place where one can buy drinks, enjoy the ambience and unwind from the long day of fun and adventure. On special occasions you have renowned DJs playing their tracks and crowd dancing on their tunes.
